On September 19, 2011 Triple-H fired The Miz and R-Truth from the WWE. This news was later announced on the WWE website with the statement given below:
“WWE has come to terms on the release of The Miz and R-Truth as of today, Sept. 19, 2011. WWE wishes Miz and R-Truth the best in all of their future endeavors.”
The Miz and R-Truth apologized “sincerely” for their action in the main event of “Night of Champions” between Triple-H and CM Punk. But Triple-H fired them both without giving them any more warnings.

According to the reports of the PWInsider.com , The Miz and R-truth will be working together as a tag team with the name of “Awesome Truth”. The arrogant and wacky personality of the Miz and R-truth makes a great and potentially strong tag team. In the recent history of WWE The Miz is very successful as a tough tag team competitor. He had great time with both the Big Show and John Morrison as a champion of WWE tag team championship. Now this amazing team of The Miz and R-truth made a decision to become the WWE Tag Team Champion.
